No need to send off for expensive custom made commie hoses. Most hoses on CJ's and -52's can be replaced with US, but because they are different sizes (US v. Metric), you have to change the fittings to US, using the B-nuts off the commie fittings. Also, George Coy has hybrid US/metric fitting adapters--see his website gesoco.Com. Beware that some US hoses are stiffer than their commie counterparts, so may not make small radius bends. Nothing wrong with commie hoses except availability, price and possible aging concerns. US hoses are readily available, cheap and fresh.

BTW: My friend Jack Ady has a beautiful Fairchild 51 he's flown for many years, but it's got P&W R-1340 power--600hp. It's for sale--contact me for info. P&W's are amazingly cheap (maybe cheaper than HS-6/M14's), even from name brand OH shops.

				FWIW, I think Jack has a Fairchild 71, not a 51.
