The translated Chinese manual (Chujia0-6 Airplane Technical Specification for Service and Maintenance) Pg 6 Fig 1.3 infers that the C of G limits of the CJ6A are 17%MAC to 24.1%MAC. I say infer because the translation wording is a little vague.
I have seen references to numbers supposedly from the American Nanchang owners group ? that utilse a Datum 70" in front of the firewall centre point that list the Forward C of G limit as 121.5" aft of the datum, and the Rear C of G limit 129.7" aft of the datum. These values when applied to the MAC are then a Forward limit of 13.3%MAC and an Aft limit of 25.2% MAC. These are dramatically different from the Chinese limits.
Does anyone have any data to substantiate the expanded values or even any more definitive/authoritative data from Chinese source data.
