I have finally made contact with the person who takes care of the

homebuilt camping area, to try to coordinate a common area for the 

RV-10's to park during OSH.   They are willing to give us a special

parking area, with extra taxi and parking space for our somewhat larger

aircraft, all in an area together.  They requested some very

accurate numbers of who will actually show up, so they don't

over-reserve spaces.  Apparently it's common for them to see only

1/4 to 1/3 their initial request, so they want us to be as exact

as possible.   If the plane will be flying regularly during the

convention, it may be that they need to be camped separately to

facilitate the logistics of regular movement.



I need to give them an ETA and advise them if it will be a mass

arrival, or one at a time.  All places should have 2 signs, the first

saying "HBC" to get you to the Home-Built Camping, and then the

2nd one saying "RV-10 Group".



If you know you will be at OSH with a flying RV-10, and know which

days you may be there, please let me know and I'll keep a list and

submit it to the EAA person, as well as give the list to the people

on the list so you all know who will attend.



Thanks, and I hope to see many others there.  I'll definitely be there

with N104CD.  Very shortly I'll have to decide which days, and

if I'll fly home a couple times in between.



**** One other thing...  My home field, KLUM, is one of the lower-priced

fuel stops in the state.  For those arriving from the West, early

in the show, I'm 1 hour approx. from OSH, and we could try to coordinate

a small flight of -10's to go over together.   If this interests

you, just let me know.

 Just to give everyone a better idea exactly where Tim is based, Menomonie WI is about 60 miles east of Minneapolis/St Paul right off of I94.  Or about 175 miles WNW of OSH.    Nice little airport that would be perfect for a mass gathering of -10's to OSH.
