Wow.  I've been following this list for a while and haven't seen one posting, now 11 !

Both Henry and Ted touched upon placement of the oil temperature senders, although the question related to placement of the thermostat.
I know the CJ6 has units for both going in and coming out of the engine, but what is the current thinking as to the most appropriate place to put an oil temp sender ?
Cheers

Marty

Ideally have 2 measures, both inlet & outlet.

But specs assume inlet.

I see generally 20-C diff between the two.

Thanks Ted
Maybe that's the problem with my low oil temp.

Thanks

I have installed my oil temp on the bottom of my oil reservoir tank , near where
the oil runs out, is this appropriate .

I am redoing my fuel flow test , because I am not getting 2900 on my static  run
up , or even rolling down the runway , at 37 GPH divided by 60 seconds. should
I have 0.61 gallons per second?? Does this sound right?

Henry

This is a picture of the fuel setup in the my moose does anyone have any suggestions?
The red block is the fuel flow sending unit. All the lines are 3/8 and
the gasolator is before that.
