Aside from cold weather ops and having to warm up a little longer is there any problem with using aeroshell 120W in the M14?

I live in central CA, where its gets +100F i the Summer and down to
only ~30F in Winter. The A/P at my local FBO has a lot of time with
American round engines, and has found the mutli-weights (I think it'2
25-60) have worked best for him. That's what I use, happily now for
over 200 hrs.

Of course the big round engines guys have a different story on this topic:

And why 'Precision Engine' says single weight is better:

And this from Aircraft Spruce on the benefits of multi-grade oil:

"X/C 25W-60 is the first and only multiviscosity aviation oil
designed and approved for radial engines originally designed to run
on 120 grade. Pilots and mechanics will notice immediate benefits
with X/C 25W-60 over single grade oils. Benefits such as improved oil
flow at startup, quicker warm-up time, cooler operating temperatures
and a cleaner operating engine. X/C 25W-60 also has proven corrosion
protection in extreme conditions. X/C 25W-60 can be used year-round,
during break-in and on to TBO."

Ok for warm or hot weather, Takes too long to warm up in cool or cold
weather.
