Can the loadmeter outputs from the main and SD-8 alternators be connected to the same ammeter? I'm thinking that when the main goes silent, the load showing will just be the SD-8. If so, do I need to do anything in the way of additional diodes or such?
I'm using the EIS-4000 with the current sensor option.

If you plan to run the EIS-4000 from the e-bus, then it
makes sense to run both alternator feeders through the
same sensor.
