That was a great video. I concur that depending on what you are used to flying it is initially pitch sensitive.
To Kevin my experience was a heavy left wing and a drop in landing for my first flight.
You should definitely get some dual time in a 701, biggest difference to me was the fast sink rate at slow speed and reduced throttle. As a big plus is the quick response when you add the throttle. It just takes some time to become one with the 701. Great STOL performance and I love it more each flight.

For me the pitch nose up change at takeoff and power setting vs. elevator authority on landing had to be learned with anticipation. This is a designed in effect of having the high mounted elevator to make use of the propwash and I don't consider it a problem just a factor to be ready for. Its very forgiving even in one of my dumber moments lifting off in a quartering tailwind before I had rudder control I kept the nose low while being drifted towards the fence until proper flying speed was there.
