It's time to replace the  cyl-head  17MM cooling hoses on my 912. Has anyone found a replacement 17MM hose other than paying the platinum price to Rotax?

I had to modify my hoses on my 912S.  I took the hoses requiring

replacement to my local (NAPA I think) auto parts store and the clerk and

I looked at all the hoses in their inventory and quickly came up with some

that had the required bends.  They were too long but I just cut them to

fit.  They have worked for 200 hrs without a problem. As I remember the

repladcement hoses were 3/4".

Hi Guys,



If you have an ELSA then some other hose might be ok or you can call CPS and pick some up. You only have to do this every 5 years. Not that expensive if you break it down by the ft/year and it's the right size. If you have an SLSA then it's a Rotax place for sure.
