I am in search of an additional oil and fuel pressure switch that I will run in parallel to the Rotax-supplied sensors. The sensors feed the Dynon EMS-120 while the 2 additional switches shall drive backup warning lights.

They should be normally closed (while at low pressure) and should switch at a pressure of approx. 0.8bar/12psi (oil) resp. 0.15bar/2psi (fuel).
Does anyone know a source for such switches? Or how did you install your backup-lights?

Cheers Martin

Hi Martin,

I have a Flight Design CTSW. I have the Dynon D-100 and the D-120. No additional back up switches needed. They wire into the D-120 which will give you an alarm (audible and visual) and I have two dash mounted red warning lights. These warnings come right from the oil and fuel pressure sensors.

Hi Roger

Thank you for your posting. I did not know that both oil pressure sensor and fuel pressure sensor do have a separate connector for an additional warning light. That sounds perfect.

I will get my Rotax in February 2008 and hope to have the same sensors.

Cheers
Martin
