I just finished the installation of the ACS FlyCam in my taildragger Shekari. I am putting the low light capable Sony CCD in the cowl pointing level in taxi config. The dimmable 6.8" TFT LCD will allow me to get a better view of what I can't see due to the cowl at night and day. In flight, the camera will be pointing down at an angle to expose the area I can not see due to the cowl.
I am sanding and filling prior to paint, so I can't say yet how it will work out. Camera tests in low level light though show great resolution.
