Dennis,
Not all engines are created equal. A "B" engine has stronger accessory drive and different accessories.

Eddie,
What RPM are you seeing and what RPM are you setting with the prop governor? The M14P should develop about 880 MM (+,- 10) at sea level, on a standard day at WOT. 905 seems a bit high, but that could also be due to the accuracy or calibration of the manifold pressure gauge. What does the Manifold pressure gauge read with the engine shut down?

Thanks George. Note - I did say M14P in my comments because I do not have any information on the "B" engine. Can you explain how the stronger accessory drive on the "B" engine yields a higher MP? Is the supercharger on the "B" engine turning at a different ratio than the "P" engine?
