 Perhaps it was a bit of dirt/goop/whatever....or you just bled that line down for now. I put new restrictors in the gear lines; at BOTH ends, actuators and valves. However I sized the holes at .040" to reduce the chance of small pieces of grit clogging a line. Also put one on the handle side of the up lines.
 
 No more "Wham" down into lock , just a slow, orderly transit to the lock position and then a "snick" as all lock at the same time. OTOH, the nose still seems to lag on the gear up swing.
