Nah... Forget NAPA

Been there done that, didn't get the light.

You will need to buy a 28V Halogen made by G.E., I believe.

765,000 Candle Power rated for 100 hours.

It will cost $35.65 and I got it online. Got some for some of the West Coast guys also.

I'll email you the EXACT part number that is an EXACT duplicate of the Russian one believe it or not. It is also used on the Airbus A319 and A320 and the Boeings as a Taxi Light.

Aha, a friend was looking for one of those, and my tail light glass cover went missing the other day. From memory looked to be the same as the gear down lights?

Yes, I believe so, but I don't have any spare covers. It's the small light bulb that I can get.

John,
I am pretty sure the gear down and tail lights are GE1252's. I will double check...

Hey Scott!

Hope all is fine with you.
My L-29 is doing fine and I have flown it quite a bit lately.
My landing light is fine, but I would like to buy a spare. Would you also e-mail me with the landing light part number? GE1252 was posted as the part number for the gear down lights. Do you know if this is correct?

Gene

I'd like to buy a whole taxi light assembly. My 1971 L-29 was operated in Russia where I think that they removed all of them. I've never heard of an L-29 that the Russians operated that had the taxi light. If any one knows of one available, I'd like to purchase it.

Also, if anyone knows where an ARK-9 ADF receiver may be obtained, I'd be interested in purchasing that too.

Thanks,

Gene Freeman
