I heard on the news this morning that a Russian Experimental 2 seat
aircraft had crashed off of the coast of Catalina killing the sole
occupant (pilot). Anybody have any information about this?

I was at the airport here in Las Vegas today and someone said that they heard it was a Yak 52 that went in the ocean about 1/2 mile off shore.... Gary G.
