I have 150 photos of all the Mariners prototypes and production models.

There is no wood in any of them.

Very attractive planes all of them.

This very attractive ( to me ) old time Curtis type flying boat was
produced by a small 2 or 3 man operation about 20 years ago
and 5 or 6 years ago a customer that owned two made an effort ( small )
to bring them back to production.

Two years ago at oskosh he hooked up with the original designer
who was an extreme eccentric and there was for a while discussion
of them working together but I have seen nothing develop from
the relationship in the last two years. I believe the two
planes shown at Oskosh are old production simply refurbished.

most all my photos of Mariners can be seen in the
Floating Planes gallery at http://vula.org
