 I did the same thing.

  

 It's no problem.  Just be careful triming the  lower corners of the rear canopy.  You have to trim the corners to near  final size to fit above the clips holding the roll bar on so the canopy fits  down on the roll bar.  Leave enough glass ahead of the roll bar trim line  to make a second cut.  I did not and have quite large gap between the front  and rear canopy.  I think I ended up with about a 1/16th to 1/10th inch gap  between the clips and the plex.  Cut it too high and you don't have enough  edge distance for the first screw going aft.
