Replacement for Panasonic LC-X1220p

I have purchased this battery from Mouser Electronics in the past but find that this battery has been discontinued by Panasonic. Checking on e-Bay, I found the Panasonic item on Allied Electronics but I’m leery of how long it’s been sitting on a shelf. I believe the one that has failed was possibly old when I purchased it from Mouser as it lasted only two years where I had been getting four years previously. There are numerous replacements for this battery on e-Bay but they are 18Ah as opposed to 20Ah. Anyone else experienced success with another brand?

From the pictures, that looks a while lot likes bunch of the batteries in the aviation aisle of my local auto parts store. Maybe 18 Ah would be enough for your plane?

I have had a  PDC-12200B in my RV-12 for more than a year that works fine.  

The lowest price I can find now is $52 at https://power.sager.com/

The Powersonic PS-12180NB might be another option.

Don't pay any attention to the AH rating.  It could be exaggerated. 

Go by the weight instead.

   design goals for battery-only endurance . . . and

   the criteria for periodic testing that ultimately

   takes a battery out of service.



   What ever battery you purchase is going to start

   your engine just fine . . . what it's capable

   of doing a year from now in terms of battery only

   ops is something you won't know until you test

   throughout the course of its service life.



   We've studied and shared experiences with

   batteries here on the List since day-one.

   Batteries have played prominent roles in many

   of the dark-n-stormy-night sagas printed

   in the aviation rags.



   I assert that for every battery

   player in those bad-day-in-the-cockpit stories,
