Sam,It's pretty easy to remove from the mast, disconnect the wires and test it on a 24 volt source.  My guess is that someone has left it on on the ground and fried it.  I do have them in stock if needed.  Make sure that you have a screw driver which fits the screws perfectly if not you will trash the tiny screws which hold the pitot into the mast tube.

I am not getting any heat to my pitot heater. I turn it on, on the ground and it
doesnt warm up. I see the Volt meter go up about 1/8. So I think it should be
warming up. I dont know where the CB or fuse is located either. Does anyone
have any ideas on trouble shooting and locating the fuse?
