Mike I used Confor foam from Hi-Tech Foams www.seatfoam.com. They have a KIS package. I used a 1” soft CF42, medium CF45, and firm CF47 for the bottoms and 1” soft and medium for the backs. We are happy with them.
We also installed four seat heaters from Sports Imports. Universal 11” X 19” carbon fiber dual temp seat heater kit. Happy building!

I used the same combination for my seats. The only experience with them has been sitting on the back seats while working on some of the upholstery. I thought they were a bit hard at first but after sitting on them for a few minutes they were very comfortable. The heater idea will be good for your area.

It was called Temper Foam, I think, when I installed it in 1998 and I have flown 5 hr + legs without hot spots. Great stuff. When it is cold they are hard but it warms up rapidly from your butt. 😊
