Bob,

Some time ago you posted a simple circuit for doing an approximation of battery capacity.  The circuit consisted of an analog electric clock to measure the time required to discharge a battery, through a light bulb, down to 10 volts.  I would like to build one of these to use as an annual battery condition test.  Can you direct me to where I might find information on how to make one?

Thanks,

Roger

Or an easier way is to turn on the landing light or "Clip a 55w head-lamp bulb across the battery and come back in 2 hours to check the voltage. If it's not at 11.0 volts or above, the battery is toast."
Go to

and search (CTRL-F) for "toast"
