My "canopy not locked" light won't go out, I saw a post on here discussing the issue but there were no replies discussing what to look for or a fix. I assume there is a switch in the small black box that the lock handle pushes into. Any suggestions for opening that box up without destroying it? Thanks

Josh,
Take the entire locking assy off the airframe. On the back of the of the small black box you can remove the back plate. Inside there is a small ball that rides along the shaft. Most likely the ball is stuck. Just spray some cleaner into it. You may have to take a small screwdriver and get the ball moving again.
