This has turned into an interesting discussion and provided additional info I didn't know - so, thanks to all.
I believe I can build the cradles for $2500. I would replace the hand screw jacks with hydraulic jacks.
Thoughts?

I'd buy one, but keep the screw jacks, any kind of hydraulics would be overkill. Plus you want to be able to adjust up and down in discrete increments
