Hi my door gas strutts will not compress , I mean I cannot make them
collapse at all!!
Anyone had this problem??

I just tried putting all my weight on one and it did colapse...are they
meant to have this much pressure!!

Yes, that's normal. They're MUCH different when on the door.
Worried me for a while too.

They work 'as advertised' when installed on the door. Install them and move on :^).
