A little off topic, but maybe this will make you feel better as you watch the wallet empty while building your mighty RV-10. I have the nasty habit of always wanting a project in the works. I started the tail kit on my RV-6 the same day I test flew my Skybolt. It’s a sickness I have yet to overcome so I’ve been casually looking around for a fun little acro machine to compliment the RV-10. I checked into the Christen (now Aviat) Eagle. It’s a great machine but the basic kit without engine and avionics is, get this, $131,000! Add in the options (like instruction manuals) an engine and VFR panel and you are up to $220,000. All that is for a bare bones kit with absolutely no work done except a welded fuselage. So, compared to the RV-10 you get to spend twice as much for the privilege of performing twice the work. Yeah, you can only do a snap roll in the RV-10 once, but at least you can do it with 4 people
Doubt this will actually help anyone, but I found it pretty amazing.

The wings will be finished and ready to mount this weekend – OR ELSE!
