I can't remember 100% what I did on this, but I did at one point go

to the local hardware store and buy an insert.  I think what

I did was buy the insert for the thinner walled tubing and used that,

since the compression fitting supplied that goes on the fuel pump

was the same as is used on other things I've done in the past

using plain poly tubing.  You could probably do either, use

the thick wall and the insert supplied, or buy an insert (almost

any plumbing/hardware place will have them) and use the specified

tubing.  That fuel pump shouldn't be putting anything out anyway

unless there is a problem with it.  I suppose if there was a

major problem, it might be nice to have the larger ID to handle

the flow.
