BNC angle adapter doesn't fit

Thought I'd mention that the BNC angle adapter that I had in stock would
not fit my TED transponder antenna. It's likely a low cost import
adapter. In fact though none of the angle adapters in two local stores
would push on far enough even though all the straight connectors that I
tried fit fine. A minor mystery as I have not been able to figure out
why they won't push on far enough despite being willing to do some surgery.

Wish I'd known sooner as I just received an order from Steinair today
and would have ordered one of theirs if I'd known mine wouldn't fit ;(

Radio Shack stocks an acceptable rt-angle adapter for
BNC connectors. I featured this adapter in the comic
