I am getting ready to install a "Trimble" GPS antenna in my Lancair IVP. I
am making a shelf for it in the fiberglass portion of the aft fuselage. In
looking at the "Connection" Bob did not cover GPS Antennas, they were to be
added later. What size, if any, ground plane does the GPS antenna take?

The flat gps antennas don't need a "tuned" ground plane. Make it as
large as practical but 6" square would probably be big enough.
