Hi Bob,

just starting on the wiring for a rebuild project on a Wittman Tailwind. Installing a Viking Turbo which has an IR alternator. I have looked and searched but can't find any detail about the AEC9004-1 module referred to in Z24A.

Is there a product out there that does this function?

I am planning on following the Z19 wiring program for the most part.

PS: I don't think we have conversed since your class in Orlando since the late 90's.

Yes, Mr. Jones has one

. . . and if you're handy with a soldering iron,
there are some DIY alternatives. But Eric's offering
is the short path to ACTIVE NOTIFICATION OF LOW VOLTS
Nirvana . . .

Man! That goes back a few years. I think that was
a trip to FL where I learned that your 'raining
cows' had larger flat rocks than KS raining
cows.

There was an attendee at that seminar who was refurbishing
a Grumman with one of the Z-figures. Do you know the
gentleman. If so, did the project make it to the finish line?

Oh yeah, you also asked about ov protection. B&C
makes the crowbar ov modules called out on the
drawing.

Thanks for the info Bob. Any idea if you will come out with the 9004 module in the future? I will go with the warning lite and B&C OV module for now.

Regarding the Grumman - can't remember that one. I have trouble remembering my name occasionally.. Serious case of CRS.

Not sure. Too many projects on my plate right
now . . . but there are ideas on the back burners.

Yup, they say your mind is the first thing to go and
damned if I can remember what the second thing is . . .
