I had 209YA Yak52 for 15 years and flew it into Florida from the point of purchase in St Thomas USVI, approximately 1,100 miles. I had my Yak insured thru Tom Johnson's agency Airpower Ins out of Phoenix 866-475-9199. I started coverage from purchase and for several years with Falcon Ins Agency out of Austin 512-891-8473. I am not sure how long their records are kept but fee free to check. Where in the Midwest is the destination? Please feel free to contact me if you still need assistance and my schedule allows.
Regards,

I bought 209YA from Mike. Forest Agency is the insurance company I use.

Had my Christen Eagle insured by them too! Highly recommend them!
