Everyone:
Thanks for the reply, I did not do a good job of describing the second cylinder that looks like a cap. It has a terminal on each end. One is connected to the regulator and the other is connected to the alternator. It had a wire that went into the bakelite on one end that was connected to the airplane frame ground. I am guessing it is also to eliminate noise. Does anyone have an idea where I can buy these?
