remember the flaps need to be out of the UP position. So if the trim motor doesn’t get that signal, it won’t trim. After sitting for a long while, the micro switches get stuck in their last position.
My suggestion is to jack the airplane up remove both wings and the entire tail section, replace all microswitches, replace both canopies so you can see if the trim motor works, order pizza for all of us and
buy a cessna 152. Now if that doesn’t work, just use the screw driver on the microswitch. It will be the sw that shows the flaps full up.
