Our 912s calls for 92octane auto fuel if available. We will be doing a long
cross country which will require several tanks of 100LL. I've heard of
additives to reduce the lead buildup when using 100LL, what have some of you
had success with???

Thanks

Hi Bruce,

We've been using 100 LL for the first 40 hours in our Rotax 914. No problem.
Just make sure you're using the correct oil for the 100 LL, as specified
by Rotax, and change oil and plugs more often.
If it were my airplane, I'd be wary of any additive not recommended by
Rotax.
