Thanks Dennis,
I asked the wrong question. I need to know exactly where the p-leads from my ignition switch connects to the mags. Can't see anything obvious. Also need to know where the p-lead ground (shield) connects.
I have M9-F mags.
And 1 more question ... can you describe where the + 12 volts and ground connects to the shower of sparks (booster coil). I see a stud with 2 nuts on it with the letter "N" stamped next to it and this unit has a adjustment screw on top.

Thanks for your reply.

Henry

Henry,
The P leads connect/screw into the back end of the mag at the bottom. You should be able to see the threaded fitting. The back end of the mag is directly opposite the end where the plug wires exit the front of the mag.

Connection of the shield is to the insulated washer inside the knurled nut as explained in my previous email.

If you are using a Russian or Chinese "shower of sparks" (starting coil), they are 24 volt units, not 12 volt units and the + and ground wires are connected to two terminals under the cover. I don't have a drawing of it available or I'd send it to you.
Dennis
