Hi Mike,

Looks like Vision Microsystems supports the Rotax 912uls with its vm1000. Usually the company that makes the instrument makes the senders and probes. I see it is a little cheaper than Dynon.
I think your question would be better directed at the Vision Microsystems factory. I have not seen or heard of one of those units on a Rotax, but that's probably not saying much.
I read a little about the units online and don't see a reason why it should be a problem.
As for installation you should have to just mount it in the panel and run all the wires to the appropriate location. I other words "Some Assembly Required".

Just Curious,
Where did you find out that Vision was now supporting Rotax hardware.
That would be a change from my previous discussions with them at
Oshkosh. There does not seem to be anything related to Rotax on their
website.

have email back from vms and they say that the VM1000C will work with the rotax engine but i will have to use the supplied sensors
have ordered one from aircraft spruce with current exchange rate makes the EMS cheaper than dynon and mine comes with fuel flow sensor and all the senders and sensors

no extra charge
