The only centering device I see is on the front strut. But this is only effective at full extension when landing. So when you see a sideways tendency this will have other causes - like a brake draggi ... |

Did you check the primer jet for a reasonable spray forming, a poor running down of fuel from there is not great for starting ?
As to no suction on carb, my guess the blower drive may be defectiv ... |

Starting on mags only or with buzzer coil as is standard ? Check sparks on buzzer coil cable with air closed.

No matter, how much you mess around with all sorts of torque settings, your real root of the mess is the paper gasket. I bet, nobody with a M 14 has had any troubles there, no gasket , just an o-ring ... |

These are 18 T floats. Chinese aircraft are extremely rare in Europe.

That is a typical defect after all these years. The fuel obviously dilutes any additive in the plastic floats so they shrink and no longer float. I copied a few sets in stainless but am not very keen ... |

may I suggest to check firmness of engine cowling brackets and cowling cushions ? I don´t know much about your type but with our 18 T we had sudden vibrations for years for unknown reason ... |

In the photo you can see the aluminium foil of the capacitor, the primary windings are not there, just the HT wires around it.
