I'd found it interesting, how that safety issue was/is approached on the certified Liberty XL2. AFAIK the door latch mechanism is quite similar to that of the Europa.

I use this single hand rigging aid from an Austrian (not Australien Wink) manufacturer on my Trigear. As you can see on the other picture (with the trailer) the wing holder can be tilted by 90°.
