I believe that they had the fuselage and wings in jigs and reamed the holes
in that position. I saw this process on the Yak 52's at the factory.
Probably your best option is to align the old holes ...

You could use a propane torch but don’t lite the torch. Just use it like a sniffer and just wave the propane gas around the joints I will do the same thing with a lot less danger.
